LEISURE: Calling Worzel Gummidge and Aunt Sally – Ilminster Town Council wants YOU!

ILMINSTER Town Council will once again be holding a Scarecrow Competition which all local people and businesses are welcome to enter.
Scarecrows should be displayed where they can be seen easily and on view from midday on Thursday, June 9, 2016, until 8pm on Sunday, June 12, 2016. The Scarecrows will be judged during this period.
The winners will be informed by June 20, 2016, and there will be prizes to the value of £30, £20 and £15 for first, second and third places.
Members of the public will be able to pick up entry forms and a list of scarecrows entered into the competition along with a map, so that they can walk around the town to view the entries, from the Town Council Offices when open from 10am to midday, by downloading an entry form or collection from the Meeting House Arts Centre in Ilminster.
