ILMINSTER AREA NEWS: Shooting Update – Court appearance at Bristol

THREE men accused of the murder of Wilfred Isaacs will appear at Bristol Crown Court today (Tuesday, May 10, 2016).
Charlie Broadway, 23, and 18-year-old Billy Broadway, of Ilton, have both been jointly charged with murder, attempted murder and possessing a firearm with intent to endanger life.
They both appeared before Magistrates in Taunton yesterday (Monday, May 9, 2016), where they were ordered to be remanded in custody before appearing at Bristol Crown Court today.
They were due to appear before South Somerset Magistrates in Yeovil, but there was a change of plan when a crash on the M5 delayed their journey from Bridgwater and their court appearance was switched to Taunton.
They were remanded in custody ahead of their court appearance in Bristol.
The will be joined in the dock by John Broadway, 37, also of Ilton, who was also charged late last night with the murder of Wilfred Isaacs and the attempted murder of a second man.
Bonnie Broadway, 29, who has been charged with assisting an offender, will also appear.
She too appeared in court in Taunton yesterday and was remanded in custody ahead of today’s date at Bristol Crown Court.
The incident involves the fatal shooting of 50-year-old Wilf Isaacs at the travellers site at Chubbards Cross near Ilton on the evening of Thursday, May 5, 2016.
Three other women, two aged 36 and another aged 26, who had been arrested in connection with the incident have been released on bail pending further enquiries.
