LEISURE: Sunshine and sand in Bournemouth

THE Yeovil-based South West Coaches will be running a two-night break down in the Bournemouth area later this summer where people will be able to enjoy the favourite coastal resort and surrounding area.
The trip is being run from Sunday, June 19, 2016, to Tuesday, June 21, 2016, and people will stay at the Norfolk Royale Hotel on a half-board basis.
The opening day of the tour will see people arrive in Bournemouth and enjoy the seaside environment before heading for the hotel.
There will be a chance for a full day of leisure on Monday, June 20, 2016, in Bournemouth or you can join South West Coaches on an optional excursion to Lyndhurst, known as the capital of the New Forest.
Lyndhurst offers a wide range of shops, cosy tea rooms, old world pubs, cafes and fine restaurants to explore.
The coach will then continue to Buckler’s Hard where the exciting Maritime Museum and Buckler’s Hard Story gives an insight into the history of the 18th century ship building village.
The final morning of the tour on Tuesday, June 21, 2016, will give people more leisure time in Bournemouth before starting the journey home.
On the way back to Somerset the coach will be stop off at the National Trust property of Kingston Lacy, a lavish family home built to resemble an Italian Palace. There are also 40 acres of formal gardens and a restored Victorian kitchen garden.
