LEISURE: Easter Egg Hunt at the Recreation Ground

EGG-CITING fun is being planned for next month on the Ilminster Recration Ground with the annual children's Easter Egg Hunt.

This year’s event – being co-ordinated by the Party on the Park organisers and Ilminster Lions – will be held on Sunday, March 27, 2016.

Funds raised from the event will go towards the costs for this summer’s Party on the Park event.

It is expected that a gazebo will be put up close to the snack kiosk where tickets will be sold for children to go on a hunt around the recreation ground for letters/symbols located at various places.

All the youngsters who take part will get a prize.

The event was supported on Tuesday (February 16, 2016) by members of Ilminster Town Council’s open spaces committee.

More details about the Easter Egg Hunt will be given in the weeks leading up to the event.
