LEISURE: All set for Gin Festival at Westlands Yeovil

THE glasses are lined up and ready for visitors to this weekend’s Gin Festival at the Westlands Yeovil entertainment venue.
The first-ever Gin Festival to be held at Westlands Yeovil will be serving up over 100 different gins plus live music and masterclasses from industry experts on Friday (July 21, 2017) and Saturday (July 22, 2017).
On arrival people will be handed their very own Somerset Gin Festival Copa Balloon Glass and a brochure that gives information all about the gins at the festival.
The bars will operate on a token system and do not take cash so people will need tokens to get their drinks. Tokens are £5 each with one token paying for a single measure of gin, garnish and a Fever-Tree mixer.
Adam Burgan, of Westlands Yeovil, said: “Discover an amazing selection of gins and enjoy live music, great atmosphere, delicious food and lots of chit chat with other gin lovers!”
The Friday evening session runs from 6pm to 11pm with tickets priced £10.50.
Tickets to attend the festival all day on Saturday from midday to 11pm are priced £14.50 while a Saturday afternoon ticket from midday to 5pm are priced £9.50 or Saturday night from 6pm to 11pm are priced £11.50.
