CLUBS AND SOCIETIES: Beavers visited the Dragon Palace

MEMBERS of the Ilminster Beavers, the youngest members of the Scout Association, were made to feel very hungry on their latest group visit.
The youngsters and their leaders popped along to Chinese take-away Dragon Palace in East Street, Ilminster, to watch the owner Brooke cook up some scrumptious food.
Helen Lancaster, of Ilminster Scouts, said: “We ordered chow mien, sweet and sour chicken and prawn crackers.
“After seeing the food being cooked in large woks we wished the staff a Happy New Year.
“Brooke gave all the children chop sticks and fortune cookies. We went back to our hall and tried the delicious food using the chops sticks.”
Helen added: “Thank you to Dragon Palace for having us.”
