CHRISTMAS 2016: A very special shopping night at Parish Hall in aid of Epilepsy Society

FUNDS for the Epliepsy Society will be raised at the Parish Hall in Ilminster during the annual Victorian Evening festivities.
A Victorian Evening Christmas Charity Shopping Night will be staged at the Parish Hall in North Street, Ilminster, on Friday (November 18, 2016) with free entry from 6pm to 9pm.
There will be hot drinks, cakes, a children’s corner, facepainting, glitter tatoos, raffle, games and lots of stalls.
All of the proceeds from the event will be donated to the Epliepsy Society charity.
The event is being organised by Ilminster lad Aidan Upshall and his family. Aidan’s dad Gavin died suddenly from epilepsy on December 7, 2015, at the age of just 35.
Aidan has been a tower of strength for his mum Marie and his brothers and in April this year he received the annual Youth Citizen of Ilminster award.
Earlier this year he held a cake sale at Swanmead School which raised a staggering £433.50 for an epilepsy charity – the highest amount ever collected at a charity cake sale at the school.
So please go along and support Aidan and his family at their Christmas Shopping Night on Friday (November 18, 2016).
