LEISURE: Quiz night with the Mayor

THE Mayor of Ilminster is giving people plenty of time to get prepared and put on their thinking caps for a fundraising quiz night later this year.
Cllr Val Keitch will be holding the quiz on Friday, December 2, 2016, at the Ilminster Bowling Club in Shudrick Lane, Ilminster, from 7.30pm in readiness for an 8pm start.
It will cost £12 a head and will include a finger buffet. Teams of up to six people are required to take part.
Please reserve your place prior to the event. Cheques need to be made payable to Ilminster Town Council.
Contact 01460-52149 or email town.council@ilminster.gov.uk to book your place or for more information.
The Mayor will be inviting local groups and organisations in the early part of 2017 for those wanting to apply for the slice of the proceeds of her fundraising.
