LEISURE: Wessex Truck Show is open!

THE 2016 Wessex Truck Show in Yeovil is up and running with a fantastic weekend of activities for all the family to enjoy.
The show – being held at the Yeovil Showground site off Dorchester Road - opened at 9am this morning (Saturday, August 13, 2016) and will be open until 5pm and then again tomorrow (Sunday, August 14, 2016) from 9am to 3pm.
There are more than 550 trucks of all shapes and sizes for people to enjoy, along with a TV stunt team, monster and mini monster truck rides, a craft fair, trade stands and a kids zone.
Australian stuntman, The Kangaroo Kid, will be performing on both days of the show. His stunts are performed on quad bikes and has set many Guinness World Records including jumping 14 4x4 jeeps and four moving 4x4 jeeps.
Tickets for the Wessex Truck Show can be bought at the gate and are priced as follows: Day Admission – adults £9, children (5-12 years) £5, family (two adults and two children) £23, senior citizens £5. Weekend Admission – adults £18, children (5-12 years) £10, family (two adults and two children) £46, senior citizens £10. It is free for children aged under-five.
