SOMERSET NEWS: Finger crushed after getting trapped in a door

FIREFIGHTERS were called out today (Saturday, August 13, 2016) to help somebody who had got a finger trapped in a door at a flat.
The Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service was mobilised at just after 2pm to a flat in East Reach, Taunton.
A Fire Service spokesman said: “On arrival crews confirmed one male with a finger trapped in a door.
“He was released by us using small tools, but he had sustained crush injuries to his finger. We carried out first aid on the scene before the arrival of an ambulance.”
