CLUBS AND SOCIETIES: Ilminster Scouts need YOUR help

NEW leaders are urgently needed by Ilminster Scout Group in order for the organisation to keep going.
Without adult help – particularly in the Scout and Beaver sections – the group will struggle to offer a variety of activities to the young people.
The group has about 80 members made up of boys and girls and they meet at Swanmead School in Ilminster on Tuesday evenings.
A group spokesman said: “We are looking for adults who enjoy working with children, are creative and fun and have some good ideas to bring with them.
“Full guidance and training will be given, but it will definitely be great fun.”
Volunteers must be over 18.
