SCHOOL NEWS: Carols in the community with Greenfylde

CHRISTMAS has been a very busy time for everyone at Greenfylde First School in Ilminster and the pupils have been only too happy to spread some festive cheer in the community.
They have been out and about performing carols and nativities to some of Ilminster’s more older people at Vaughan Lee House, Muchelney House and Hazlewell Lodge.
While in school the children have put on a feast of Nativity and carol productions which have been well attended by family and friends and brought that bit of Christmas sparkle to Greenfylde.
Headteacher Claire Oaten said: “Our thanks go to everyone who has produced these and to The Minster church in Ilminster for hosting three of our productions.”
