LEISURE: Get your raffle tickets now for charity raffle at Cottage Flowers

COTTAGE Flowers in Ilminster is selling tickets for a grand raffle which will be held at the Sunnymead Country Fete later this year.
First prize will be a weekend for two at Cricket St Thomas, while second prize will be a Hetty vacuum cleaner supplied by Numatic Chard and third will be a bouquet of flowers every month for a year provided by Cottage Flowers.
The raffle will be drawn on Saturday, September 2, 2017, during the fete at Sunnymead in Frost Lane, Ilton, which is being held from 11am to 5pm.
The fete will be raising money for the Beacon Centre at Musgrove Park Hospital in Taunton and the St Mary’s and St Peter’s Primary School in Ilton for an outdoor classroom.
There will be pony rides, bouncy castle, skittles, digger and children’s races – plus lots more – including a hog roast, ploughman’s lunch and cream teas.
Entrance to the fete is £1 for adults and free for children.
The event is being sponsored by Cottage Flowers and if anyone is interested in holding a stall at the fete or donating any items please contact the girls at the shop in East Street, Ilminster, on 01460-53020.
A face painter is also needed for the fete – so any suggestions would be gratefully received.
