SCHOOL NEWS: Anyone for tennis?

WIMBLEDON fever will soon be with us and pupils from Ilminster and Crewkerne have got in early with their own mini-red tennis competition.
Pupils from Greenfylde First School in Ilminster, Shepton Beauchamp Primary School, Ashlands First School and Misterton First School played a total of 28 matches down at the Ilminster Recreational Ground in this qualifying event for the District Mini-Red Tennis Competition.
After some hard fought matches and wonderful team spirit, Greenfylde A team was the eventual champions and will now compete in the District Final at Martock Recreational Ground on June 22, 2017.
