SCHOOL NEWS: Looking good for World Book Day

CHILDREN at Shepton Beauchamp Pre-School near Ilminster really did dress to impress to help celebrate World Book Day.
World Book Day is a celebration of authors, illustrators, books and – most importantly – it is a celebration of reading.
Thursday, March 2, 2017, marks the 20th year there has been a World Book Day and children of all ages from around the world have come together to appreciate reading.
The main aim of World Book Day in the UK and Ireland is to encourage children to explore the pleasures of books and reading.
