CLUBS AND SOCIETIES: Angie's a hit with Ile Valley Flower Club

THE Ile Valley Flower Club has thanked florist Angie Blackwell, of Ilminster’s Cottage Flowers, for a wonderful demonstration.
Angie attended the club’s monthly meeting last night (Tuesday, October 11, 2016) and gave a demonstration entitled A Whisper of Autumn.
She was delighted to entertain the club members who meet on the second Tuesday of each month at 7.30pm in Broadway village hall near Ilminster.
The Ile Valley Flower Club is affiliated to the National Association of Flower Arranging Societies and meets to promote and practise the art of flower arranging.
A club spokesman said: “Thank you to Angie for an entertaining evening with some lovely arrangements in unusual containers.”
