SCHOOL NEWS: Go and find out more about Holyrood Academy

HOLYROOD Academy in Chard believes it is vitally important for parents to choose the right secondary school for their children.
So Holyrood is throwing open its doors on Thursday, October 6, 2016, from 5.30pm for parents of prospective students to come and see for themselves what is on offer at the Academy in Chard.
A Holyrood spokesman said: “We want people to come and find out why we believe that they could not make a better choice than trusting us with the education of their child or children.”
During the evening people will hear from Holyrood’s executive principalMartin Brook and headteacher Matthew Collins who are keen to share their strategic vision for the Academy and the plans they have to establish Holyrood as a centre of educational excellence where every student can thrive as they achieve their true potential.
There will be ample opportunity to meet with Heads of Year and Subject Leaders who will be delighted to answer any questions. Present students will also be on site, escorting you on tours of the Academy and its facilities.
