LEISURE: Fantastic food at the newly-opened Lopen Raj

THE Lopen Raj restaurant on the outskirts of Ilminster and South Petherton was officially opened yesterday (Monday, May 23, 2016).
Manager Salman Shohel welcomed the Mayor of Taunton Deane, Cllr Vivienne Stock-Williams, and her consort, husband Ian Stock, to give the restaurant an official civic seal of approval.
The Indian restaurant is now under new management and will be open from 5pm to 11.15pm Mondays to Saturdays and from midday to 10pm on Sundays.
Salman is looking forward to welcoming diners to the restaurant to try and enjoy an amazing selection of Indian cuisine.
The restaurant had been closed for some time, but is now open for business and Salman has already received some positive feedback from early diners at the Lopen Raj who have been impressed with the food.
A takeaway option is also available.
