SCHOOL NEWS: Easter activities at The Minster

FAMILIES of pupils at Greenfylde First School in Ilminster were invited to take part in a range of Easter activities at The Minster.
The activities were led by Rev Nigel Done and organised by Tracey Hallett, their youth pioneer, and ranged from decorating “thought” pebbles, decorating Easter flowers, parachute games and creating their own Easter gardens.
Greenfylde headteacher Claire Oaten said: “The children also enjoyed a special snack of hot cross buns and took part in singing songs to celebrate the message of Easter.”
Earlier in the week the Rev Done had led the Easter services for the school in The Minster where children celebrated through song, drama, pictures and prayers.
