LEISURE: Arundells and Salisbury Cathedral

A TRIP is being organised by Yeovil-based South West Coaches to visit Arundells – the home of former British Prime Minister, Sir Edward Heath – on Sunday, March 20, 2016.
The house reflects Sir Edward’s time in public office and contains collections of paintings, musical and sailing memorabilia along with bronzes and oriental pieces of artwork just as they were when he lived there.
Follow this with some time exploring the beautiful two acre medieval walled garden.
Then it is onto Salisbury where people can tour the Cathedral full with various forms of art, architecture and paintings.
Alternatively coach travellers can miss out the visit Arundells and the cathedral and spend the whole day, instead, at leisure in Salisbury city.
There will be various pick-ups in and around the Yeovil and South Somerset area – checkout the webpage at http://www.southwestcoaches.co.uk/excursions/arundells-salisbury-cathedral-or-salisbury/60 for more details.
Prices are £27.50 for adults and £22.50 for children or £15 for coach only. Phone 01935-475872 for bookings.
