SCHOOL NEWS: Neroche dancers win Under-9s competition

PUPILS from local primary schools took part in the annual Street Dance Competition at the Kelly Leigh Dance Studio in Chard.
The Year 3 team from Neroche Primary School, at Broadway near Ilminster, won the Under-9s competition and brought a shiny new trophy back to school.
Neroche PE teacher Kate Rigden said: “I want to thank the Kelly Leigh Dance Studio for once again hosting this super event.
“Street Dance is so popular with our pupils and our after school Street Dance Club is so well attended.
“The children love the opportunity to dance to their favourite pieces of music and the theme tune from Trolls was a real hit. Well done everybody!”
