SCHOOL NEWS: Wadham students turn on the prom style at Haselbury Mill

HASELBURY Mill played host to its “home” prom this evening (Wednesday, July 6, 2016) when students from nearby Wadham School at Crewkerne descended on the picturesque venue with an army of family and friends.

Hundreds of people gathered at Haselbury Mill – just down the road from Crewkerne – for the annual end-of-school celebration.

Once again the students were the stars of the show and did Wadham proud as they arrived in their finest attire and a wide range of vehicles including HGVs, sports cars, horses and carriages, motorbikes, camper vans and vintage cars.

Haselbury Mill has played host to a number of proms over the past few weeks, but this was certainly the most well-attended by family and friends of the students all wanting to grab those all-important photos of the big night.

It took several hours between the first students arriving to the Year 11 group finally moving into the Mill’s fabulous Tithe Barn for their final meal together.

The weather stayed fine and there were smiles all round.
