SCHOOL NEWS: Neroche installs new IT equipment

CHILDREN and staff at Neroche Primary School at Broadway have been really excited following a £30,000 investment in computer equipment has been installed in the school.
The school invested heavily over the Easter period in updating its IT provision. In addition to providing an extra 30 laptops and ten ipads, the school has replaced its servers and wireless network in order to speed up and further improve the network for the school’s children.
Sienna, a pupil in Willow Class, said: “The new ipads are really fast and we can find information so quickly. I love having brand new stuff in school.”
Headteacher Connel Boyle said: “Due to the increased popularity of our school and our planned growth in pupil numbers, this has allowed the school’s budget to increase healthily.
“It is because of this planned growth and the popularity of our school that is allowing us the freedom to make these key large investments in our school.
“Our school IT facilities are amongst the best available and the enthusiasm of the children and staff in using IT as a key learning tool is fantastic to witness.”
