SCHOOL NEWS: Sunny Ile children learn more about the outdoors
CHILDREN at Sunny Ile Pre School had great fun exploring Greenfylde First School’s outdoor classroom in Ilminster.
They found lots of wildlife including bugs and bees during the activity led by Greenfylde’s Forest School teacher Vernon Higgins on Tuesday (April 12, 2016).
The Sunny Ile children have recently been enjoying the story Stick Man – so Mr Higgins organised an activity in which the pupils had to make their own stick men out of twigs.
A Sunny Ile spokesman said: “We look forward to arranging many more Forest School activities in the future.”
