SCHOOL NEWS: Top gear for Greenfylde
YEAR Three children from Greenfylde First School in Ilminster have enjoyed finding out what life is like as an amateur rally car driver.
Julian Wilkes visited with his rally car giving all the children an opportunity to sit in the driving seat and look at the engine.
He talked to the children about the safety clothing he and his navigator need to wear, the preparation and ‘homework’ they do before a race to learn the route and the trophies they have won as a result of their hard work.
