SCHOOL NEWS: Football festival fun with Greenfylde

GREENFYLDE First School in Ilminster hosted a football festival at the town’s Recreation Ground.
Ten football teams from five local schools got together on Thursday, May 19, 2016, for the festival.
The teams each played 5 matches and had a great time showing off their football skills!
Greenfylde headteacher Claire Oaten said: “Plenty of spectators came to cheer on the children and everyone had a fantastic time despite the drizzly, cold weather and they were rewarded with plenty of goals being scored!”
Ms Oaten would like to thank Bob Brunt for organising the afternoon and to the other local schools for coming to take part.
