ILMINSTER NEWS: July edition of Ilminster Press is out NOW!

THE third edition of the new Ilminster Press newspaper is now available to be picked-up for free from outlets in and around the town.

The monthly publication has once again been well-supported by local groups and businesses with advertising and is packed with news and photos from Ilminster and the immediate surrounding area.

The 32-page July publication is currently available in the main Ilminster Tesco store; McColls and Co-op stores in the Market Square; Cottage Flowers and Ilminster Bookshop in Ilminster town centre; the Spar Garages in Ilminster and South Petherton; the Shrubbery Hotel; Ilminster Arts Centre; Monk’s Yard; and the Lopen Raj restaurant and Trading Post Farm Shop at Lopenhead;

Included in this edition are photo features on the recent Ilminster Lions Club Fete and the Brit Fest music festival at the Archie Gooch Pavilion.

There is also an eight-page pull-out feature on Swanmead Community School’s Celebration of Achievement Evening, while headteacher Mark Walker has some strong words about plans to change local schooling from a three-tier system into a two-tier system which would put Swanmead’s Middle School status in jeopardy.

If any business in the Ilminster area would like to advertise in the August edition of Ilminster Press – please email or phone 0777-3198-081 for more information.

NOTE: Ilminster Press the paper is published once a month.
