ILMINSTER NEWS: Congratulations to Grinters on its tenth anniversary

A FANTASTIC £1,255 was raised for two groups during a night of celebration as a local building firm commemorated its tenth anniversary.
Grinters, who are based just outside Ilminster at Broadway, held a party at the village hall where a raffle and auction was held in aid of the Dorset and Somerset Air Ambulance and the 1st Ilton and Broadway Scout Group.
Live music was provided by the IOUs and guests at the party included staff, family, friends, business associates and customers.
“It was a great night and it was lovely to see so many come along to help us celebrate our tenth anniversary milestone,” said a spokesman for Grinters.
“We’re delighted to have raised £1,255 for the Air Ambulance and Scouts and we’d like thank everyone who took part in the auction or bought raffle tickets to help raise this wonderful total.”
Grinters was first established in 2007 when cousins James Champion and Geoffrey Dark set up the business.
The name Grinters is a joint family name – one that is well known in Ilminster for the Grinters Bakery.
James said: “We have built up a good reputation over the years and pride ourselves on giving the best possible customer service in all areas.”
