ILMINSTER NEWS: Car number plates stolen

PEOPLE in Ilminster are being urged to contact police if they find their vehicle is missing number plates.
Police have reported two different incidents in recent weeks in which both number plates have been stolen from vehicles.
A police spokesman said: “On one occasion a male was arrested in Plymouth for a burglary using one set of these plates on a stolen vehicle.
“If number plates are believed to have been taken rather than fallen off please do report it.”
The request for information was made during last Tuesday's (January 17, 2017) meeting of Ilminster Town Council.
Anyone with information or wanting to report incidents can call police on 101.
