SOUTH SOMERSET NEWS - VIDEO: Road flooded at Donyatt
THE problems of flooding on the main road into Donyatt – which sits between Ilminster and Chard on the A358 – have struck again.
Persistent rain on Monday (November 21, 2016) have caused the River Isle at the village of Donyatt to burst its banks and flood the road.
This video was taken at 1.20pm and showed that vehicles were managing to get through, but only just.
The Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service has repeated its appeal to motorists not to risk driving through floodwater as they might not be so fortunate in getting through.
Permission has been granted by the Facebook group - Spotted Driving and Parking Like an Idiot in Chard, Crewkerne and Yeovil – to use this video on this website.
