ILMINSTER AREA NEWS: Vehicle on its roof

FIREFIGHTERS were called out on Saturday (August 13, 2016) night to deal with a crash which resulted in a vehicle being left on its roof and a casualty trapped inside.
The alarm was raised at just before 9.45pm to the incident at Cricket Lane at Cricket Malherbie which is midway between Ilminster and Chard.
Three fire engines from Ilminster, Chard and Axminster were mobilised and firefighters were able to get the male casualty out of the vehicle who was then left in the hands of ambulance paramedics.
