ILMINSTER NEWS: Volunteers needed to staff Tuck Shop

ILMINSTER Town Council is looking for volunteers to staff the Tuck Shop on the Recreation Ground.
The Tuck Shop sells ice cream, drinks and snacks and is popular with people visiting the Rec in Canal Way.
The Mayor, Cllr Val Keitch, said “People who come to the Rec tell us what a great facility the tuck shop is. We would like to open on a more regular basis this year - ideally every weekday afternoon and at weekends - so need more volunteers.
“We do rely totally on volunteers to open the Tuck Shop and really appreciate their efforts that go towards making the Rec such a great place to visit.”
Volunteers are welcome to contribute whatever time they can from a few hours a month to a few hours a week.
Information about volunteering and the volunteer record (application) form can be downloaded from the Ilminster Town Council website www.iliminster.gov.uk or by contacting the town council office on 01460-52149.
