ILMINSTER NEWS: Tesco store coins in the cash for charities in 12 months

STAFF at the Tesco store in Ilminster have sent out a MASSIVE thank you to everyone who has donated to their charitable fundraising events over the past 12 months.
The store may not be the biggest Tesco supermarket in the country, but it has got a HUGE heart when it comes to backing local projects and national charities.
Over the past year the Tesco team – led by its community champion Helena Jones – have supported a whole lot of different causes and through a variety of fundraising activities have amassed a whopping £20,469.35.
Helena said: “It is fantastic and it’s all down to our wonderful customers. We’d like to thank everyone who has contributed to this amazing total and I would like to personally thank all the Tesco staff for getting involved.”
