ILMINSTER NEWS: Councillors to look at play area improvements
IMPROVED equipment at a play area in Ilminster could be on the cards – if agreed by town councillors.
Ilminster Town Council’s open spaces committee was told on Tuesday (February 16, 2016) by the council’s senior open spaces warden, Ryan Gold, that he had received comments from a member of public about the lack of play equipment at the children’s area in West Crescent.
Councillors decided that the issue would be placed on the agenda of the committee’s next meeting for full discussion.
Cllr Sophie Storey said: “The play area at West Crescent has been discussed in the past, but hasn’t been included in any masterplan.”
