ILMINSTER NEWS: Man hit over the head by a metal bar
POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a man sustained a significant head wound following an assault in Ilminster.
The victim, a man in his 40s, was approached from behind and hit over the head with a weapon, possibly a metal bar.
He sustained a large cut which required a number of stitches at hospital.
The incident happened between 1.30am and 2am on Saturday, April 14, 2018.
