ILMINSTER NEWS: Guess the weight and date of Beth’s baby

AN ILMINSTER hair salon is holding a fun competition for people to get involved with the arrival of senior stylist Beth Trebley’s baby next month.
Beth left the Penhalagans salon in Silver Street last Friday (August 4, 2017) to go on maternity leave ahead of the birth of her baby boy.
And in celebration of the forthcoming new arrival the salon is hosting a competition for people to guess the “weight and date” of Beth’s baby.
There will be two winners for the person who guesses the nearest weight and the person who guesses the nearest date and they will each receive a free hair conditioning treatment and blow dry.
All you have to do is go to Penhalagans’ social networking Facebook page and find the relevant post and put your guesses in the comments section.
To give people a clue on the date – Beth has been told by the experts that her baby is due on September 17.
Dozens of people have already made their predictions with dates varying from September 9 through to September 29 and weights ranging from 5lbs 10ozs through to 8lbs and 11ozs.
No doubt Beth will be hoping for sooner rather than later and lighter rather than heavier!
But best wishes from the Ilminster Press to Beth and the safe arrival of her baby boy.
