ILMINSTER NEWS: Terrible news as search for missing Caroline is called off

POLICE have announced tragic news that they are no longer searching for missing Caroline Green following the discovery of body of a woman in Ilminster.
Officers put out an appeal earlier this week for information about Caroline, 43, of Silver Street, who had been missing since Monday (August 7, 2017) evening.
But police announced late last night (Wednesday, August 9, 2017), that they would “like to inform the public that we are no longer searching for missing woman Caroline Green.”
A police spokesman said: “Sadly, since our appeal for information, the body of a woman has been found in Ilminster.
“Caroline’s family have been informed of this development.
“Thank you to all of those people who shared our appeal.”
