SOUTH SOMERSET NEWS: Police appeal for witnesses after service station robbery

POLICE are appealing for information following a robbery in Merriott.
A man walked into Broadway Service Station on Broadway at approximately 11.30am last Monday (July 3, 2017) and stole a significant quantity of cash from staff inside.
The offender then fled the scene in a dark coloured vehicle which was waiting further up the road. The vehicle drove off in the direction of Lopen.
A 40-year-old man from Ilminster has been charged and a woman, 25, also from Ilminster, was arrested and released under investigation in connection with the incident, but police still need to identify the vehicle and everyone involved.
