ILMINSTER NEWS: Mayor hosts Civic Service

THE Ilminster Mayor, Cllr Val Keitch, held her Civic Service on Sunday (June 25, 2017) at the Minster where she welcomed council dignitaries from around the county.
Mayors and Deputy Mayors from across Somerset descended on Ilminster for the service which was conducted by Rev Nigel Done.
There were bible readings from the Mayor, Cllr Keitch, and the Deputy Mayor of Ilminster, Cllr Julie Fowler, along with some singing from the choir of Greenfylde First School.
A collection was held in aid of Sweet Surprise, while refreshments were laid on following the service at the Minster Rooms.
