SOMERSET NEWS: Collection changes due to May Bank Holiday weekends

TWO bank holiday weekends in May mean there will be changes to the refuse and recycling collections for every home in Somerset.
The Early May Bank Holiday on Monday, May 1, 2017, means all collections during that week will be one day later, including Friday, May 5, 2017, pick-ups on Saturday, May 6, 2017.
The Spring Bank Holiday on Monday, May 29, 2017, sees one-day-later pick-ups during that week, including collections for Friday, June 2, 2017, taking place on Saturday, June 3, 2017.
Recycling sites remain on their usual schedules throughout both weeks, including all 16 opening at 8am on Saturdays, Sundays and both Bank Holiday Mondays.
