ILMINSTER AREA NEWS: Three adults and one child taken to hospital after fumes leak from boiler

FOUR people were taken to hospital on Friday (April 14, 2017) as a precaution after fumes were found to be leaking from a boiler at a farmhouse near Ilminster.
Two fire engines from Ilminster and Chard were mobilised at just after 12.45pm to the incident at Donyatt Hill at Donyatt.
The Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service were called by the occupants of the farmhouse complaining of feeling unwell after a diesel boiler had released fumes.
Firefighters found the source of the leak to be domestic heating oil fumes from a boiler.
“In the end three adults and one child were taken to hospital to be checked over as a precaution,” said a Fire Service spokesman.
