ILMINSTER NEWS: Vacancy for councillor on Ilminster Town Council

ILMINSTER Town Council is on the lookout for a new councillor to join the team.
The council announced on Monday (January 23, 2017) that a vacancy had occurred on the authority following the resignation of Fred Albin.
The council has the power to fill the vacancy by co-option unless ten electors from Ilminster request an election to be held.
Those wishing for an election to be held need to submit their request in writing to The Proper Officer at South Somerset District Council, Council Offices, Brympton Way, Yeovil, Somerset BA20 2HT.
Requests need to have been received at the district council by February 9, 2017.
