SOUTH SOMERSET NEWS: Robbery at convenience store

POLICE are appealing for witnesses after intruders stole a quantity of cash from a convenience store at a garage in Crewkerne.
The incident happened on Monday (January 2, 2017) at about 10pm at the Three Counties Garage in South Street.
A police spokesman said: “The staff member was forced to open the safe by the two suspects.
“We’re keen to hear from anyone who may have been in the area at the time of the incident who may have information to help our enquiries.”
