ILMINSTER NEWS: Impressive stonework for Archie Gooch Pavilion

ILMINSTER Town Football Club has unveiled the first photos of the amazing new hamstone welcome stone that will be installed at the entrance to the Archie Gooch Pavilion in Britten’s Field.
The large piece of local ham stone has been generously donated by Ham & Doulting Stone and was worked on by local master stonemason Sean Monaghan.
A club spokesman said: “The location of this piece will allow it to be viewed by all that pass by or into the pavilion and highlights the pride that the community and, in particular, the football club has in the fantastic new facility. Be sure to look out for this masterpiece when passing along Canal Way!”
