ILMINSTER NEWS: Cottage Flowers win Carnival window competition

COTTAGE Flowers bloomed with success at the weekend when they were named as winners of the Best Dressed Carnival Window competition organised by Ilminster Carnival.
The Carnival-inspired window at the well-established florists in East Street certainly grabbed the attention of the competition judges and they took first prize in the annual competition with Just Things in Silver Street as runners-up.
Competition organisers would like to thank all of those local businesses and shops for taking part in the fun contest and look forward to their support next year.
Cottage Flowers, meanwhile, have been nominated for the national 2017 Wedding Industry Awards.
Angie Blackwell and her team are looking for votes from wedding couples who used Cottage Flowers for their big day during the past 12 months.
If you were a bride and groom who used Cottage Flowers from October 24, 2015, up until now or planning on doing so before October 23, 2016, then please cast your vote by logging onto https://www.the-wedding-industry-awards.co.uk/2017/south-west/florist/cottage-flowers .
Voting closes at 5pm on October 23, 2016, and then then judging process will begin.
The Wedding Industry Awards are designed to recognise and reward excellence in the highly competitive wedding industry.
