ILMINSTER NEWS: Three men attacked in street

POLICE are appealing for witnesses after three men were assaulted by a group of people in Ilminster.

The victims, aged 42, 26 and 20, were attacked by several men in West Street, between 11pm and 11.30pm on Thursday, August 18, 2016. They didn’t need any medical treatment.

The offenders ran off towards Station Road. They were all white and aged between 20 and 50 years old. It is possible some of the suspects were of Irish nationality.

A police spokesman said: “We’re trying to identify those involved and would like to speak to anyone with information about these assaults.”
