RUNNING: Chard Road Runners in Sedgemoor 10k

MEMBERS of Chard Road Runners were off to the Battle of Sedgemoor 10k on Sunday (August 28, 2016).
Wayne Loveridge was the first Chard finisher in a time of 35:06 – a new personal best - and seventh place out of a starting line-up of 368 runners.
The club’s newest member, Daniel Cahill, was next home in 36:33 and 12th place. Kenny Timson finished in 21st place in 37:58.
The second personal best of the day went to Rachel Bird who was the first Chard lady home in 41:28 and 53rd place.
Helen Baxter came in 235th in 54:34, while Claire Gibbs achieved a personal best with 1:01:08 and 305rd place.
