SOUTH SOMERSET NEWS: Police appeal after van driver fails to stop after crash

POLICE are appealing for information following a fail to stop incident in the Crewkerne area.
The incident happened on Tuesday, May 10, 2016, at about 3.40pm on the A356 at Furringdons Cross.
A white van turning right towards Merriott at the crossroads turned into the path of a Mercedes, causing damage to the front of the car.
A police spokesman said: “The van reversed and then drove off, failing to stop to leave details with the driver of the Mercedes, a woman, who was not injured in the incident.
“We are keen to hear from anyone who may have been in the area at the time of the incident who may have information to help our enquiries.”
