They won the final of the competition – the association’s annual club knockout competition - by beating Clevedon Bowling Club by seven shots at Yeovil Bowling Club this afternoon.

The match was actually the 2015 Turnbull Cup Final which had been delayed from last year until today.

It means that Ilminster have retained the trophy having beaten Taunton BC to win the Turnbull Cup in 2014 - the first time since 1986 when they then beat Clevedon.
