ILMINSTER NEWS: Cannabis and £5k in cash seized in drugs raid

POLICE carried out a drugs warrant at a property in Ilminster on Thursday (September 7, 2017) and seized over £5,000 in cash and a large quantity of cannabis.
The haul was reported on the police’s operation support team’s social networking Twitter account as officers continued the crack down on illegal drugs activity in the area.
Anyone with information about people they believe to be dealing drugs should report their suspicions to the police online or call the non-emergency number 101.
Or, to give information anonymously, call independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 or through their website, www.crimestoppers-uk.org . They never ask for your name and cannot trace your call.
Originally the drugs raid was reported by police to have taken place in Chard, but it has since been established it was actually in Ilminster.
